When you have seen the sun set on the Pacific Ocean on a clear day, there is no feeling quite like it. The ocean's blue tint captures your eyes and hugs your soul as it recedes into the distance. There are some days when you really need to be able to close your eyes, drift off, and imagine all of this peace. This album manages to do that for me every single time I listen to it. It's an album of melancholy songs that are best enjoyed by staring down at a clean white sheet or wrapping yourself up in one blankets before drifting away into dreams of calmness and serenity. This is my favorite album by the band. To me, it's just incredibly powerful and even though most of the songs are in English, I feel like they speak to my heart and soul. It is a very melancholy album and it has a very grand sound. The lyrics are very meaningful and personal and I listen to this almost every day during the wintertime when the sun goes down. This one is also a great one but for different reasons. This album has an old-school vibe that I love. It makes me want to move back in time.... to the Spanish missions on the outskirts of town, to the horse-and-buggy, to horse races in red velvet suits. It's a great album and I would say it's one of my favorites after "Fulanito." This album is very powerful. When I listen to it, it makes me want to take a train out in the country and just ride through a sunset. For me this is a very well put together album. If you have been looking for an album that gives you that dreamy feeling from when you were child or from when you were falling asleep in class or from when you were just lying out in your backyard staring up at the clouds, then this is your album. This one is very hard to explain. It's like a mix of the previous ones with some Americana thrown in for good measure. There are some great songs on this one but I feel like it's not as soulful as the others which hold their own special place in my heart. I am very fond of this album but I wouldn't say that it's one of my favorites. It does have its moments and it is worth checking out if you are a fan of the band or you are just looking for something new. The original review also included "Viene del mar" which was later included in "Fulanito". Also included in this review was a live version of "Comanchero" which would later be re-released as a single. The original review also included a live version of "En tu cruz estoy clavado", which was later re-released as the band's first single. The original review also included "Salimos de Aqui", which was later released on the band's second album, "Fulanito". Also featured in this review were singles #12, #13 and #14, all of which were released on their second studio album, "Fulanito". cfa1e77820
